Fred Harrison

 

Fred has over 40 years experience in manufacturing industry. He served an electrical apprenticeship in the Mining Industry and then moved into the manufacture of heavy gauge plastic piping systems followed by high speed plastic container manufacture in a Senior Engineering Management position. Responsibilities included all Site mechanical, electrical and civil engineering projects and maintenance.

Positions held include Engineering Supervisor, Planning Engineer, Safety Officer, Works Engineer and Engineering Manager. He started and successfully operated for 15 years, his own Project Management Business, liaising with Client senior site personnel and so has practical grass roots experience in mechanical, electrical and civil engineering project work and installations.

Qualified to degree level, Fred’s experience includes design, installation and commissioning of electrical distribution systems, compressed air, chilled / cooling water systems, speed and temperature control systems.
As well as operating in the Thermoplastics Manufacturing area, Fred has for 15 years, been involved in the Pulp and Paper Manufacturing and Converting fields.
