Precision Skills... essential balancing skills |
|
The session is designed for attendance by field and shop balance technicians, vibration analysts, front line maintenance foremen, machinists, engineers and any others who decide what the balance quality of new, rebuilt, remanufactured, or site running assets should be. Typically the class duration is 2.5 days. Shop balance stand hands-on, and/or field balancing practice will extend the course by one day for each application type at a minimum. |

Subjects What unbalance is Common source creation Weight, radius and other considerations Sources that are misinterpreted as unbalance The effects of unbalance on asset and other machinery components Measurement of Unbalance Recognition with vibration tools Relative motion measurements The effects of vectorial summation Comparison with other data The influence of natural and resonance frequencies Ensuring repeatability in the shop and field Understanding unbalance types Static / force Couple / false-couple Quasi-static Dynamic
